Nursing is a very flexible, well paying job. You can do it in less than 4 years if you have another degree or 4 years otherwise. Pay is good, demand is excellent...one of the top professions to go into with great growth potential and room for advancement if you continue in school later.

All the answers sound like noble careers, however if you are a strong person (mental) and can deal with the world calling you a bastard. Then selling Used Cars , yes thats right.
Fact: 1st year just selling at a good busy dealership you will , not could, but will make at least $70,000.
When you get into a managers position ( 2-3 years later)
you'll pull in over $150,000.
Now F&I mgrs and sales managers. at a busy dealership they will make about $15-20,000. a month
The General manager can make over a million a year
That is why the weak minded customers hate us.
Good luck.

I believe that the highest paying career without a college degree is a home business in the health and wellness industry. It is something you can do while working your full time job, and you might be surprised at how quickly it builds.

This is something that athletes are finding cuts their recovery time in half while giving them endurance, and it's excellent for prevention of disease.
Incomes of $20k/mo within a year are definately not unusual in this business. You are trained and mentored every step of the way, so all you have to do is set your goals, and go about achieving them!

Accounting. Being a CPA is extremely well paying and you don't need anything beyond four years of college. However, it's boring, hard, and requires extreme attention to detail. Them's the breaks.

Accounting. I'm one and make pretty good money. I don't think it is boring though. It has lead me to become a President of a company and there is something new every day.

Software programmers and engineers do quite well too.
