You take the sheet & fold it in half down the middle. Then you take one pocket end & fold it into the one closest to it & do the same with the other end. Once the ends are tucked in you fold the sheet in half again . And the fold it again until it's small enough to fit in a drawer or on a shelf. After you do this several times you'll become an old pro

1. Start with your sheet inside out. While standing, hold the sheet in front of you, and place one hand in each of two adjacent corners.

2. Bring your right hand to your left, and fold the corner in your right hand over the one in your left hand, so that the corner on top is right-side out.

3. Keeping your left hand in place, reach down to the remaining two corners with your free hand, and tuck these corners into each other. Fold these corners over the first two. Your sheet should now be folded in quarters, with all four corners tucked inside one another.

4. Lay the sheet on a flat surface with the puckered end folded in over the flat part of the sheet. Touch up with an iron, if necessary, at this point. Fold two edges in, so all the elastic is hidden.

5. Fold the strip you have created into a rectangle, then continue folding until the rectangle is the size you want it to be.

Then I place the 2 folded sheets and one folded pillow case inside the remaining pillow case and store it that way. Everything stays together and you are not searching for a lost pillow case

have to say I laughed at bebop answer , Normally fold them on the ironing board first I put my two hands inside the sheet where the elastic of the sheet is fold over to meet the other side of the sheet lay on the board then once you have the 4 corners inside one another fold the 2 side´s to the middle , then bring up the rest of the sheet that´s left and fold to meet the top , by now you should have and oblong shape , then fold over run the iron on top and ther you have it all nice & folded

When you get an answer I want to read it. Mine always look like a wad no matter how much I try. Maybe I just don't have the patience. My life is not centered on folding my fitted sheets correctly - there are always more interesting things to do...Its probably my own fault

I fold the sheet in half length wise, then push the corners into each other. Next, I take the two side of the sheet(length wise, again) and fold in half till they meet in the center. Then, fold one more time (length wise) in half. Finally, I fold it in thirds. Hope you understand all that.

There's no perfect way to fold fitted bedsheets, however, Martha Stewart explains how it's best done on the web page I've listed below. I was going to try to explain it myself, but she's already done it. And, she's got a good picture to help you out. :o)

I totally agree with bebop. Who cares what your sheets look like because when you put them back on the bed, the wrinkles come out.
