He is a threat, he could very well be the next president of the U.S. and they are afraid of that. So they have embarked on a program of Charactor assassination. That is the repuglican way. Look what they did to a war hero as opposed to a draft dodger.

Hes a Democrat and they know they will have more influence in a Republican administration. Everything else you listed is to influence the assortment of dittoheads and dilettantes into protesting his nomination and as such they can all be assumed to carry an equal if unimportant weight.

While I appreciate that you support Barack Obama, I believe your "cheerleading" of him in your question is a little bit too simplistic. I think he is very naive in foreign affairs. I think most of his views are knee-jerk liberal. While he does not take offense to everything said which might have a racial overtone- except that his handlers got him to rip Senator Biden after he wanted to let bygones be bygones over the "bright and articulate" comment- I think he'd do what he'd have to not to offend the overly sensitive Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
I will add one thing- he's the one Democrat who scares me as a Republican if he wins the nomination.

1) He is for abortion.
2) He is not conservative.
3) Better than Hillary, Worse than Republican nominee probably.
4) Why do you use the word hate? Only people who believe in the power of lies or hate uses that word so much.

first of all i don't hate anybody.
second of all, i would never vote for him because he's a socialist, he's racist, he wants the UN to have greater powers over our country, he doesn't see a need for babies who are born alive during a partial birth abortion to get medical care, he's inexperienced, and he is extremely hard to pin down on certain issues. that enough for you?
