I had a REALLY bad haircut one time...I mean bald patches in the back. I gave the stylist her tip because, I mean...at least she made the attempt, but I didn't pay for the cut. Alot of people said I was wrong, but hell, when you get a bad meal in a restaurant, they don't make you pay for it...but I would still tip the server for bringing it to me...why should a haircut be any different?

I gave the stylist a tip instead of paying for the haircut because I wanted the salon owner to take the hit. It called attention to the whole situation. If I had paid for the cut, the salon owner would never know she had employed a stylist who couldn't do a standard shaping cut.

You shouldn't have tipped either. I have had so many bad haircuts but being as stupid as i am i always ended up paying even though i wish i wouldn't have. I just got a haircut a couple of months ago that i paid $60 for and the idiot made it way too short. I told him that i wanted it below my shoulders and he cut it to my ears i was really pissed off. The next time i get something bad done to my hair i'm not going to pay. I don't trust anyone with my hair anymore.

No, but there has been times when I got home and had to style my hair for myself and saw that I couldn't because the cut was sh*tty. I wanted to go back and demand my money back. I got a bad haircut about 10 months ago and I'm still reaping the consequences. I've went and had it cut two times since then and the other stylist told me there was only so much she could do to fix it and that I'd have to let it grow out. I feel like it's gonna take forever!

BALD PATCHES?!!!!!! jeez!! I don't think I'd pay if a haircut was THAT bad, altho I have had cuts which I've not been all that overkeen on, but have never refused to pay. I'm far too unassertive and even end up pretending I like it when asked at the end!! I wish I could be more assertive sometimes.......but bald patches would sure bring out the assertiveness buried deep within me!!

I got a horrible perm once and I refused to pay for it. I told the idiot hair-dresser before he started that I color my hair and asked if he's sure getting a perm will be ok. He kept saying no problem. Well, it fried the ends of my hair so bad it had to be cut and he cut it horribly. I was in tears. They didn't make me pay.

I had something like that happened to me. I just kinda freaked, and got up and left.. I went to another hair salon and had someone else fix it. But, I didnt pay, or tip, or yell, I just kinda freaked and got up and left..

Once I had a very bad haircut. My wife took me back there to fix it. He charged me for another haircut. Of course I never went back to him again !

I had a buddy of mine give me a haircut, it was horrible but he did it for free.
