Well, if they are new, that is the problem. I wear contacts and when I get new ones, either one or the other, maybe both, are unconfortable. The lense hasn't found the right spot and shape to suction into, it's normal. Take your lense out for an hour, let your eye settel, then try it again. Trust me, this happened to my sis yesterday. Put some solution into your eye and wait. It will feel more confortable after awhile.

It may have turned inside out when you took them off last night or maybe when you got it this morning, which is something very common that happens all the time. Also check that you don't have an eyelash inside of your eye or in the lachrymal as that might hurt when it comes in contact with your lens. Check that both your eye and the lens are completely clean and if it is still uncomfortable then try turning it inside out. I hope this helps!

Well since you just got them, your eyes are still adjusting to the feel. If they still feel awkward after several minutes, take them out and wear glasses and try again later on. Should the contacts still be uncomfortable then you might possibly need to get a different prescription.

If they're soft contacts, remove the offending lens and examine carefully the way you had it inserted.
If, when you hold it on your fingertip, it rounds up like the shape of your eye, it's fine.
If, when you hold it on your fingertip, it looks more like the top edges go out a little bit, you may have inadvertently turned it inside out.
I did this with one of mine and when they're new, they're just so darned flexible, it's hard to tell sometimes!
Take a very close look and make sure it's right side out, then rinse it off well and reinsert.
Best to you...

There are a couple things that could be wrong
1. SOmething could be on the contact lense
2. You could have punctured it while putting it in(that was my problem my first day.
3. That one eye could just not react to change as well or fast as the other eye
good Luck

I have contacts too. And my mom who has had contacts for 15 yrs. told me when that happens rub your eye. If that doesnt work make sure it is not inside out.If it's not inside out then jus take your contact lens out and put saline solution on it.
Good Luck

Take it out and put it on the palm of your hand, and wash it with solution on your palm. You might see a piece of hair, dirt or makeup or something come off.
