Would UK size would it be?

18" flat means that the measurement under arm to under arm is 18". So actual chest measurement of garment would be 18" + 18" = 36 ins. I think this would make it about a size 10. Good luck.

Childs nite shirt more like. It would be a reject size in the UK.

Children do not have an 18" Bust - they might have a 18" chest measurement which I guess would be a skinny age 8 years.

It's 18 inch bust one side right?

Surely that would make it about a 12 (36 bust all round?)
