My best friend doesn't have a lot of self confidence...?

She told me she thinks she's fat. When I ask her who she likes she'll say, "No guys are cute here." She hasn't even had a boyfriend in all her Middle School life. Any ideas of what I can tell her?

Your thinking that because she says she is fat that is the reason for not having a boyfriend. It just may be that she really doesn't find a guy that turns her heart yet. But if you want to build up her confidence a little more, and you being friends. When I was younger and we had what we called sleep overs, we would do up each others hair and nails and pick out outfits , and a little make up , not much. Have fun helping your friend try different hair styles, and looking through magazines for different outfits for her.Your a good friend for caring.

MIDDLE SCHOOL IS ******* YOUNG. Get over it. She sounds like me in middle school. I thought i was fat (well..i was actually sort of) and I thought all the guys were lame and ugly and stupid and IMMATURE. have you ever though that, just because she's not interested in 12 year old LITTLE BOYS, that she is indeed more mature than you? I would never trade anything to go back and say that i had a bf in middle school. Who ******** cares? She'll grow out of it.

just support her. having a bf is not the most important thing but she should feel good about herself so be a good friend and help her find positive things about her

get some hot guys and her around together and see what her reaction is. get together with all of them and do stuff. have a blind date. tell her shes not fat, and really hot and atractive. tell her positive things that will tell her that shes not fat, but boy attractive. get some makeup and tell her to wear some of it.
