there is not much distiction between the two these days. vendors will tell you the hardware is different but in reality it isn't. The differences are in the support provided by the manufacturer. Home users usually get India and business users pay a premium to get in country support.

It's an artificial distinction, except a business computer may come with xp pro instead of home or media center. Same for the vista versions (I forget which is the business one).

Some game machines run rings around business ones. Some business ones put a "home" machine to shame.

The only real difference is on business computers you aren't allowed to add programs that aren't approved. They are basically stock computers with a few business programs. Since they are glorified adding machines, crunching data, they don't have lots of ram, top of the line video cards, etc, pretty basic. Chow

Usage and Business computers have a higher grade of software. Like XP Pro instead of XP.

Software that's installed on a business computer isn't necessarily used or installed on a home computer.
