Applying for an internship with SCA (student conservation organization) need help with my objective.......?

I have filled out a form asking me all about what classes I have taken and if I have experience with the outdoors. Now I am trying to fill out my objective. Here are the directions they give

-In 300 words or less, why do you want to serve as an SCA Conservation Intern? What are your specific goals for the experience? -

Do you think I have fulfilled their request? Any advice will be helpful thank you.

Here is what I have so far.....

"To obtain a position in the conservation or environmental field to further develop my deep interest in the environment and related fields. I believe that through an internship I will be able to serve and interact with the community. "

My goals are to develop an understanding of the requirements and benefits of a career in conservation, and to further my knowledge about ecology and the environment.
