The chances are very low, especially if you've never had anything published or produced before. Most producers won't even read scripts by strangers.

my suggestion would be to get a reputable rep or agent (one that does not charge reading fees-actual reps get a cut of you getting money, so they will be looking for work for you instead of lounging by the pool basking in the luxury of your reader fee). do research and find one with experience in the hollywood area (they don't have to live there-they just have to be experienced and reputable among the hollywood movie scene). the reason i point out having a rep or agent is because they know the ins and outs of dealing and negotiating and alot of times, the people who buy the scripts and make the movies will not deal with an unknown. it will also free you to work on other scripts. agents also avoid pitfalls and cons if they are reputable-something you might not recognise as a beginning script writer.

and whatever you do, do not see rejection as a failure-if one place does not like your script, another might. and don't stop sending stuff to a studio that rejected you previously (unless they tell you to go away-and even then, wait for a judge to actually say it). just because, say, a romantic comedy was not what they wanted this time, your drama might be right down their alley next time.
