i know i could use another day off from my mail being delivered to my next door neighbors and gettiing junk mail most of the time

it would probably boost the entire economy if they cut out Monday delivery. most "legal" holidays they are closed, and still get paid for are on Monday! i think most of the carriers get a day off during the week ..so they only work 5 days a week any way..
don't get me wrong...i just want the USPS to stop jacking up stamp prices to stay in line with fed ex, ups, etc. they are delivering to our mail box any way. and there are still some die hards that like to send a card here, and there!!!

I wouldn't care if they didn't deliver on Saturdays either. Nowadays everyone gets their checks directly deposited and all we really get in the mail are bills.......I call and make my payements by phone or on the internet anyway. I hardly ever check my mail. I'd say once every two weeks. I think that would be a good idea.

Lot,s but on Monday, it would cost them more for the overtime.
