Years ago in a city I grew up in, a Chinese Resturant got into trouble for buying cats and cooking them for meals, they called the cat meat chicken on the menu. Seen a few more places since then get into trouble for the same thing.

If it's a cheap chinese restaurant, those fast food ones, definetly wouldn't trust the fish (might not be fresh), if you go to the ones that they take the fish out of the fish tank then it's ok, other wise, I really doubt the freshness of the dead fish in Chinese supermarkets and restaurants.

I'm going to go with chicken, because ever since my friend Steve sent me this awful e-mail with pictures of Chinese people skinning and boiling rats, I have started to notice that Chinese chicken sort of curls in a way that you don't normally see chicken curl. In fact, the curvature of the chicken pieces is not unlike that of the natural shape of a rat. I know that's really gross, but you go look at a piece of Sesame Chicken and get back to me on what shape you think it looks like.

Last Friday I was in a restaurant which had 'sweat chili chicken' on the written on the specials board.
And I had it.
Just couldn't enjoy it properly though. Kept imaging a certain tang to the sauce..

Pork. Uncertain background. Eating pigs doesn't appeal to me in general.
