Who plays the best? who has the best material?
Where can I listen to their music 4 free?
Who are some new bassists who are really good? Who are some oldschool bassist who still rock? like classic rock and stuff.
My favorite bassist is Brad Wakst from Three Days Grace, my favorite song he plays Get Out Alive. I also like the bassist in Led Zepplin, but i can't remember his name.....

The bassist from Zepplin is John Paul Jones, he is certainly good. my favourite bassist has to be Cliff Burton, i believe he was the drivingforce behind metallicas early success and aggressive sound.
other good bassists of note are bootsy collins, philip lynott from thin lizzy, flea from the red hot chili peppers, and les claypool from primus.

John Paul Jones is the bassist from Led Zepplin.
My favorite bassist is Gene Simmons from KISS but only for the music, not his personality and where's it taken him today.
1st runner up is Geddy Lee from Rush
2nd runner up is Bruno Ravel from Danger Danger

John Entwistle from the Who is the best bassist ever, listen to Live At Leeds and you'll see.
Flea is the best one out there today though.

John Taylor from Duran Duran, if you listen to such songs as "Careless Memories", "Rio", "Planet Earth", "Hold Back the Rain", "New Religion" you will see why he's so good.
