US American governments TERRORIZE their own citizens. It's called the "WAR ON DRUGS."
Police and soldiers MURDER unarmed civilians and aren't even brought to trial because, for some perverted reason, politicians seem to think they have to "send the right message to young people" even though young people are smart enough to see through the lies.
The Americans of the British Colonial era didn't have it as bad as they do today. But back then they stood up for principles of liberty. Today, they think they're the best country in the world because there are others that are worse. Pitiful.
Oh yeah, on the subject of Afganistan, don't think the CIA isn't in on making money off the the bumper crops of opium since the Taliban were run out.

"America attacked Afganistan because of no good reason." Afghanistan became a supporter of and a harbor for militant Islamists. People like bin Laden, Zawahiri and Zarqawi flourished in Afghanistan. The training camps exported terror to Thailand, Bosnia, Russia, Lebanon, Israel, Egypt, Germany, Indonesia, the U.S.A. and many other countries. The Taliban in Afghanistan refused to extradite the terrorists and continued to support them.
"They did that again to the Iraqi people" Lots of people starved to death under Saddam; the "oil for food" debacle should have fed the Iraqi people, BUT NO, Saddam used it as a method of control. He also murdered plenty of his own people.
When we kicked Saddam out of Kuwait and chased him all the way to Baghdad, he cut a deal with us to save his own sorry hide. Saddam reneged on the deal, giving us the right to enter his country.
"And Before That In Vietnam." The French started the war in Vietnam. We were bound to enter it because of the SEATO treaty signed by President Truman.
For the above-mentioned reasons, I can say that this is not terrorism.

Examples of terrorism are the Oklahoma City bombing by McVeigh and Nichols, shooting physicans in the name of pro-life, hanging people in the belief of Ku Klux Klan. The wars that you speak of were military action.

ur an idiot u should get your facts straight-the US started bombing Afghanistan because the Taliban harbored terrorist like Bin Laden who was responsible for the WTC bombing.
UN did allow bombing in Afghanistan.
Citizens are killed in any war, should we have let Hitler go because we were afraid to kill civilians.
I don't agree with US policies a lot of times but get your facts straight before you ask a question like this

No terrorist is the little guy fighting back in the best way they can. We are an imperialistic world power. And we can kill who we like until the world starts thinking we have invaded too many countries and they start sanctions on us and then the tough talk might change

who gives a sh*t what the UN thinks? the UN is the biggest terrorist agency in the world. anything they frown on, i'm almost always for.
the difference between terrorists and our fine military is, the terrorists take pains to dress like average people, CIVILIANS. then they take a bomb in a backpack and SNEAK IT INTO A BUS OR TRAIN, AND BLOW UP AS MANY WOMEN AND KIDS AS THEY CAN. you can keep playing your moral equivalency game but the only people who will buy it is the same people who already think like you.
and since you feel that way, MOVE TO AFGHANISTAN AND DEFEND THOSE CHILD KILLERS WITH YOUR LIFE. wouldn't that be admirable, since you'd be defending them against terrorists?

I don't think Afghanistan fits in that group because we were going after Bin Ladin and he was being protected by the government of Afghanistan, but in the other instances I would say you were right. In answer to your question, no Americans are not terrorist, their leadership is.

Put into the correct perspective--only the current Executive Branch fits your description.
The Chimpster's war efforts, based on the facts that have come out--define the definition of a terrorist.
Terrorism is a term used to describe violence or other harmful acts committed (or threatened) against civilians by groups or persons for political or other ideological goals. (Wikpedia)
