My triangle of love is finished with a 3rd side,
a property of translation is called a glide,
People in love say "geometry doesn't affect me,"
but they use the reflection in the mirror to see.

From the waffle cone,
to the circles on the plane
From the sphere in the sport,
to the rectangle on the court,

People think love is lame
but many things can be put on a plane,
A line has no definition,
and the top of a lake can be your plane when you're fishin.

Geometry and love is real to you and me,
with the shapes that have sides from 20 to 3.

A friend wrote this a long time ago and used it for Valentine's Day, really bad; but, maybe you'll get an idea.

This is a bigger world than it was once
it expands an explosion it can't help it it has

nothing to do with us with whether we know or
not whether our theories can be proved

whether or not a mathematician
knew a better class of circles

(he has a name, Taniyama, a Conjecture)
than was ever known before before--

not circles, elliptic curves. Not doughnuts.
Not anything that is nearly, only is, such

a world is hard to imagine, harder to live in,
harder still to leave. A little like love, Dear
