Is it all about showing how much you can spend on a hand bag?
A bunch of guys sitting around having a few drinks and discussing everything from sports to Southpark to evolution and this is a topic that came up last night. We all pretty much agreed that they aren’t very stylish or attractive.
What’s the deal?
Is it just because they are expensive?
Is it just so that women can show off to other women?

like you said, women to show off to other women, what is also such a turn off about LV purses is that basically no one buys the real ones, and the fake onese look like the real ones, so even if you bough a real one no one would belive you.

Some people genuinely like them... but I agree with you. I think the LV pattern is ugly, and I think they make some ugly handbags. On the other hand, kudos to you and your friends for having a discussion that went beyond the usual.

yes. it is just women showing off to other women. like if one of us said I have the new loius bag, another would need to say, yeah well i have the new dior sunglasses (in womens world, some thik this is a way to get respect) i think its stupid though.

I think it is to show how much money you spent....even though it makes no sense to me- you can buy the real thing for 1,000 dollars, and find a knock off that is identical to it for around 20 bucks. but that's just my opinion.

I DONT THINK Louis Vuitton HANDBAGS ARE ATTRACTIVE EITHER, BUT ITS CUZ IT "EXPENSIVE"! LOL!
