NOW WAIT A MINUTE! HOLD ON DAMN IT! You and I both know the answer, and of course the War is something you would think of when weighing in on such a question. But TRY not to bring it up, because heres my thing, I want to know what has he done for the American people? Has he done something good about illegal immigration? Has he done something good in regards to taxes? Has he made more jobs for the American people? Has he done something to lessen crime? What has he done for us? Has he done ANYTHING good at all?

It might have been Carter, even his Mom said that she never expected Jimmy to win because his brother Billy was always the smarter one of her children. But the current president seems to be in the running and a potential winner of the least intelligent award despite what his wife and supporters claim about his intelligence. Folks in high school claim Obama was average, there were no law review articles found that he wrote while on the Havard Law Review, and no laws enacted that he personally drafted and created. For most votes on controvesial or tough decisions, his vote was a befuddled indecisive 'present'. Events since May 2008 when it was made clear that Dems were the front runner to win in 2008 elections have shown the economy failing fast. Obama might try to blame his predecessor, but it appears the likelihood of the Democrats win in 2008 drove the economy further downward. Despite Obama's meeting with the top CEO leaders nothing has changed, job offshoring continues, HB1 visa and immigration continues, and more troops are going to the wars fronts, plus there is a new war he started in Pakistan. Bush owned a professional baseball team, and ran the state of Texas as Governor, which is more accomplishments and experience than the current president has in running business and government. Our current president needs our help, and this focus on the past president is not helping much.

Basically the thrust of his administration has been to make the rich people richer and the poor people poorer while attempting to do away with the middle class altogether. It's tragic that some people continue to support him. When I see a poll that says 70% of Americans think he's bad for the country, I always wonder "What's going on with the other 30%?" Are they not paying attention to their own country--the lost jobs, the lack of health insurance, tax cuts for the rich, young people dying in an unnecessary war, environmental regulations being turned back, religion invading our national policies, suspension of habeas corpus, holding people prisoner with no legal protections, the government overriding our constitutional protections against unwarranted search and seizure, tapping our phones, reading our emails, etc.?

Absolutely.
He inherited a recession but now the economy is fantastic.
People are paying less taxes than they were.
I think his approach to solving immigration problem by having more guest worker programs and also not kicking out all of the illegals right now is the correct and moderate way to handle the problem. Unemployment has gone down. Home Ownership is WAY up.

I think that it is also great that there hasn't been a terrorist attack since 9/11.
We had the WTC in 93, Oklahoma City in 95, Centennial Park in 96, countless abortion clinic bombings, the Una-bomber, and two embassy bombings in 98.

Since Sept 11, we haven't had anything (knock on wood). I have to think that Bush is doing something right.

George Bush jr. will go down as a great president. the myths have already been put in stone just as worthy in stature as the two tablets of long ago.
Bush has been a great president for these times and for this country.
No he has not added jobs and in fact we are looking at a deficit in jobs of living wagfe with the middle class if not on guartanteed inflation and raises , governemtn workers, losing just a little ground but teh actual value of USGDP is growing.
That less and less people ahve a prt of that GDP as disposable income and that a greater part is now held by foreign interest will indeed make those who have profited, wether dollars or egos by his being president will insure his name remains among the best presidnet ever.
Actually bush is the most honest president we have had in ages. He just does not give a damn and tells anyone who does to Bring it On and then has Cheney get rid of them.
His is blatant use of power and no mattrer how much it is obvious no power in this counry can touch him or his administration.
That the miltiary has now joined in and is in the open about why they are military is needed to ensure US economic interest at least they in the future will not need big bucks going out to advetising and merchandisang agencys to try and decive people.
tehy no longer have too they have passed laws and we are a nation of laws are we not.
At least with Bush at helm and the demos and repubs finally being shown as "ONE SNAKE, TWO HEADS' WE CAN QUIT ALL THIS DEMOCRACY bs AND eMPOWER OURT NEXT LEADER OF EMPIRE, AS AN EMPORER WHO NOW HAS CLOTHES ON!

And this is one of the reasons you guys lost the last presidential election. You are so focused on bashing Bush you aren't focusing on the elections next year!! Who cares about what Bush is or isn't he's almost done, shouldn't you be putting your energy towards the next president?? And if your Democratic house doesn't start to do something, anything pretty soon besides the war people are going to focus on this!!
