Long before Christiantiy, Hindu's and Buddist believed that humans were inherently good and loving. Christians introduced evil and hate as an opposing force, a perpetual battle between good and evil. The question should be "is EVIL historically a Christian notion"? Also, probably not, but they helped it to make the headlines.

Absolutely not!
Just look at all the primitive tribes - they all had love and marriage. Nearly all religions and certainly all those that survive today believe in love and marriage.
Christians love to try and claim love and morals to themselves but all this shows is their ignorance of the real world and does it not also indicate that if they are so wrong about love and morals that their entire thinking may be wrong?
Love is a human trait but also one shared by many animals who mate for life. Please lets just leave it that way and just laugh at any person or religion that says otherwise!!!

The bases for christian religion started with the disciples/apostles of Jesus Christ and his first rule/commandment was to love your enemy like your neighbor and your neighbor as your brother. Seek ye out another religion that puts this rule/commandment first! Good luck.
