hi there. i used to be an HR for an MNC. also taken and worked for many MNC call centres as HR. Its believed that if someone responds "we'll call you", "we'll let you know", "i'll call you back"...etc., means you are not needed. the best solution for this kind of problem is to "keep in touch". don't say you've called up for follow-up. say you've called to be in touch. its just a matter of some penney. nothings wrong in being in touch. you never know when luck changes... get back for any query at all the best. take care.

I'd follow up.. Tell her you thought she might have been busy and over looked the return phone call.. If she says she's already made a decision. Tell her thankyou and you'd appreciate another opportunity sometime in the near future. .
