My two year old Packard Bell will not work this is the problem

I start it up and it says a windows 32 file is corrupted or missing. Reinstall this file.......Where do I get this file?

I tried using my Master CD from another Packard Bell and this is what happened

It loaded up and it told me to enter my computers serial number. So I enteredt the numbers from the sticker on the back of the computer. Then it went to a blue screen with a white bar at the bottom stating OemsSetup V4.21 and did nothing

What is the problem and how can I fix it?

Its defnitely your windows was corrupted, , u can repair by putting windows cd again, and try to repair, if it doesnt then check your hard disk is correctly working or not, then only installtion stops, if it works properly and showing on bios setup, then install a new windows which is suitable to your laptop!!!

Get your windows installation cd and put it in the cd-rom drive Boot to the cd If your computer is not set to boot to cd you will have to go into the computer BIOS and change the booting sequence. Do not change anything else. If you do not know how to go into BIOS (look for F key message during startup) or contact a tech. When windows startup begins you will choose REPAIR. Do not format. If repair doesn't work you may have to try a reinstalation which will overlay windows (as long as you do not format your docs hould be OK).. last resort is reformatting. If you must do this you should contact a data recovery person / company first if you have docs and things you cannot replace. Good Luck.

First off, you should of had a CD for it, but I'm assuming you have lost it. Another computer's CD won't work because certain drivers are required for certain computers. I'd suggest just installing Windows again, but I don't know what version you have. What you need to do first though is back up your hard drive onto something else, since it does seem that you need to reimage you computer.
What I'd do is try to contact the company though, just to check if they can help you with your computer, and pray your computer is under warranty.

The serial number for one does not work with another, it requires the original.
