Ronaldinho seems to be the favourite here. And I'll go with him too. But not because he's better than Gerrard, only because Gerrard is not at his peek (like he was last year). But its the same with Ronaldinho... I'm just hoping that there are more from Liverpool than Ronaldinho.
But all those thinking that Liverpool will be easy pickings for the "attacking" barca need to have a think-over. Liverpool is one of the strongest defensive teams out there. Barca can't get through us so easily.

Ronaldinho always has a great potential to score but I dont know much about Steven Gerrard.

Both can score goals, but I think Ronaldinho has better chance.
Firstly, Ronaldinho naturally is an attacking midfielder/ forward, and thus has better nose for goals. Gerrard is a midfielder and he shows better defensive play than Ronaldinho. He can score goals, of course, but he is likely 'not born for goals'.
Secondly, Ronaldinho is given more freedom in Rijkaard's tactics. Gerrard, in the other hand, oftentimes is given task to be a ballwinner the ball as well as playmaker. Thus, he has very concerned to make goals, unless the situation force him to do so.
Thirdly, Ronaldinho is the main free-kick taker in Barca, thus he has more chances to score, meanwhile Liverpool has Xabi Alonso to take free kick.

Ronaldinho has the potential to score a goal in the first leg at the Nou Camp but i would also hope Steven Gerrard will score.

I don't think its gonna be any of those scoring goals (ie. Gerrard or Ronaldinho)
for Liverpool Crouch or Koyt..iguess....for Barca..thats a big question...who'll score the goals?! Eto'o n Messi haven't even given a full game to play (with eto'o just 5mins!)..Saviola...he starts sometimes n sometimes not so?...Gudjohnsen..don't think so! ok coming back to Gerrard vs Ronaldinho...Gerrard can be dangerous with his long range shots...Ronaldinho will be assisting more...he might get one only by a free kick or penalty IMO

Hey i'll answer that question about Littlecra about "ask real madrid about that one" Ronaldinho didnt even do anything when real madrid beat barcelona 2-0 it was all messi and robinho and ronaldinho isnt in his greatest moments right now he didnt do anything at the world cup 2006,World Club Cup, and Barcelon vs Real, and wasnt even player of the year. Liverpool 3-1 Barcelona Gerrard Hat-trick and either messi or saviola scores

Gerrard has a higher percentage rate of missing the goal when he strikes, Ronaldinho is more reliable.

Man, Ronaldinoh can score from anywhere almost. Free kick (a free kick outside the box is about 99% goal if Ronaldinoh is kicking it), penalty spot, header, from midfield dribbling past defenders (ask Real Madrid about that one).... etc...etc...etc Don't take anything away from Gerrard, he is a great player, but for pure goal scoring, there's no one in the planet with the skills to score like Ronaldinoh. Too bad he doesn't show it in a more consistent basis.
