Why not run a 'System Restore'. START, then PROGRAMS, then ACCESSORIES, then SYSTEM TOOLS, then SYSTEM RESTORE. Pick a date before your troubles started.

it sounds like you have clicked a popup from a site while you have been surfing, these popups are pretty annoying whilst not being malicious they hamper you by popping up every five minutes and annoying the crap out of you. you can try using the add and remove feature it sometimes works, or as previous answer try a system restore from a point before you started having problems, failing that you need to know someone who can either edit registry or reformat the machine as a last resort.
Help for future reference if you get an unwanted popup dont click it use ctrl+alt+del and close all internet explorer windows from task manager that way it disables any more windows from opening or installing any unremovable trial packages

Any legitimate software will never - EVER - just install itself without asking your permission first. I'm not sure what you've picked up here but it definitely sounds a bit shady. Unfortunately, there are programs out there that masquerade as antivirus and antispyware programs, but are just a ruse to infect your computer.
Look for a good antispyware program - I use Webroot's Spy Sweeper, which is superb; but there are loads of excellent antivirus/antispyware packages out there, many of which are completely free or offer free trials. Just make absolutely sure you know what you're installing before you agree to do it.

these programs are spyware disguised as legitimate software
some of these also hijack your home page but it looks like you have been lucky on this front
although you dont normally find uninstallers with these programs, its worth taking a look in control panel>add/remove programs, they might be masqueraiding by another name so remove any programs/software that you never installed or you dont recognize
next you need to run at least 2 anti-spyware programs to get rid of the actual spyware/malware thats infected your p.c
go to http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html,and download spybot, this is a excellent spyware removal program and will also protect you from infection in the future..note:remember to download the updates and imunize spybot before you run a system scan, once the scan is completed you should press"fix selected problems"
then go to http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5,and download adaware personal, this is another decent adware removal tool, this will remove the pests that cause adware, which in turn cause pop-ups,again remember to update the program before you run a scan
you also need to check your p.c by doing a search, simply go to start>search>enter the name of the problem programs and delete anything found by going to edit>delete all>delete selected files
i hope this has helped
good luck

Hey,
The first thing to do to speed up pc and get rid of malwares and viruses is cleaning the registry with a program like CCLeaner http://j.mp/1sW1Y3d
It's the best software of its kind.
