Not always, of course. It is not a right to pay hit men to kill people, for example.
But I believe that in general, people should be able to do as they please.

I smell a loaded question here.
It's not really your own money. The government prints it, the government puts it into circulation, and the government got to decide what's considered "money" in the first place. You can't pay for things with seashells.
If you're against paying taxes, you can always try the barter system.

Kinda iffy there. It is, but there are laws against spending it irresponsibly IE, Bribery, buying buying///selling drugs, and such. however, it may be construed as a privilege, as people in different countries can't always do that. the US is a vessel of freedom and gives this privilege. so, I'd have to say, no, it's not..

um, yes! i work and make money and it is MINE. it is no concern of yours what i do with it. go make your own money.
why do you act incredulous? if you don't agree, move to Venezuela. Chavez will be happy to spend your money for you.
