I gotta go with Vanderbilt, they've had a sudden turnaround as of late and are coming on strong. They've beaten Florida handily once, and almost did at Florida had they not blown the 10 point lead they had going into the 2nd half. I doubt it could happen but if any team could I'd go with them.

Virginia Tech, USC, maybe Winthrop, Georgetown might be considered a darkhorse National Championship contender, and maybe some others as well.

I have three. My first one is sothern Illnois. They handled Butler pretty well yesterday. There are one of the better mid majors i have ever seen. The second is Nevada. Nick Fazekas is a dominant player and I think that they could hang in the major conferences this year. My third is a very good Pitt squad. I know they are in the top ten but they are 5th in RPI and are an extremely good three point shooting team and they have a dominant 7 footer in Aaron Gray.

Virginia Tech beat UNC twice this year and also have strong wins against Duke, and UVA. Pair that with a good backcourt Tech could be cutting down the nets in March

I say USC because they have been battle tested in a very stacked Pac-10. Expect them to make some noise in the NCAA tourney.

I have Kansas winning it all. I don't think Ohio, NM, or Xavier have a chance at winning it all. There are way too many good teams in front of those teams.
