i am crazy about batman. he is the most realistic superhero because he isnt a superhero at all! just a man with a desire and drive and money and time. makes you feel like you could do some of the things he does, if we had money and training.....but anyway....which batman movie you think is the best and which batman graphic novel? .....cause i love most of the graphic novels ...( especialy dark knight returns and batman year 100) every artist has his own impression of batman but they are all facets of the same wonderful character,,,/...it should be the same with the films right??!!!! ...but ...despite what i said i just cant make myself like the joel shumacher films. i think they are crap!! michael keaton and c. bale were the best movie batmans for me

Batman
Batman Returns
Batman Forever
Batman & Robin
Batman Begins
Batman: The Dark Knight (2008)

Shumacher did a poor job of Batman which cause the end of the original series. But Warner Bros could have make Begins the first prequel and start over the old series with new prequels. That way it will revive the series. That's the way it should have been done. I think Forever and Batman & Robin is not that bad from a kid's point of view. It's less violence and less dark. More like a colorful comic book comes to life. They are great Batman movies for kids under 12, but definitely not for adults. The first two movies is more for adults and the last two is more for young children. I don't see what's the problem with that. People hated the last two movies because it's not dark enough. I do agree on that, but they are still Batman movies no matter what.

I'm going to have to stick with "Batman Begins" as the best movie and the "KnightsEnd" series of the comic book. Sure, FM did a great job with DKR and DKSB, but I think the KnightsEnd episodes helped define how the Bat really is.

Batman Begins, because it represents well what is in the comics and more action too.Graphic novel is Jim Lee's Hush, Jeph Loeb's story is twisting and the art is stimulating.
