The advantage of using the unit circle is that it avoids the messy business of having to divide to compensate for the radius of the circle not being 1. Using the unit circle essentially tells one that no matter what the radius of the circle being used, when all is said and done, the trig ratios for any given angle will all evaluate to those 6 basic functions.

Then the ratios are from the numbers that are on the circle (sine = opposite over hypotenuse which equals a million.) after which you would be able to multiply to get different ratios quite. could you % to benefit via having to take the ratios of opposite to 33 a million/3?
