Of all the major sports (NHL, MLB, NFL,NBA), the NBA is the only sport which invites none allstars to participate in their skills competiton. Do you agree that the skills competion should be restricted to only those that play in the All Star Game? Maybe, this way we can finally see Carmelo or LeBron in the slam dunk contest ????

That is a great thought, but then we would never see anyone such as nate robinson, josh smith, or gerald green. I would LOVE to see a dunk contest between Kobe, LeBron, Carmello, and Wade, but that's never going to happen... (i'd like to be wrong though) they arent gonna risk the injury of doing it, although it would defiantly be a wonderful show.

you have to understand that the skills competition is about the players with the best skills at that particular moment such as the slam dunk contest i mean nate robinson can dunk he might not have made the allstar team but guys like him and gereald green can do some crazy things on the court anyway guys like lebron james and the bigger stars aren't interested in certain skills competitions
