The question is self explanitory, does anyone know the answer to this? I want a 360, but it's just too much, and the PS3's price is extraordinary. Anyone have any answers?

Sony annocued that a price drop for the PS3 is probibale by the end of the year. The 360 hasn't had any word of a price drop any time soon.

It has been rumored that the XBOX 360 is going to have a price drop this coming holiday season for some time now. Just recently, another rumor popped up that Sony will also be dropping the price of the PS3 slightly because of bad sales. No official words from the companies yet, but it wouldn't surprise me a bit if this Christmas, we see a fairly substantial price drop on at least one of the two systems.

No one knows for sure, although it's possible that an Xbox 360 price drop may occur sometime this year, coinciding with a rumored new black version of the console with a 120GB hard drive.

a long time, if i were you i would get a 360, they are a lot cheaper than the ps3 and the ps3 only has good grafics.
