A friend of mine gave me his old cell phone (Samsung by Verizon) I want to know if I can activate it through metro pcs . I looked up the phone at metro website and they do carry the same phone, it just says verizon on the front rather than metro.. If you have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate knowing....Thanks

Many cell phone carriers have the same models and phones. However each phone is programmed differently to used specifically with their own network. So in your case you have a old samsung phone that says Verizon but you want to know if you can use it on Metro PCS. I honestly think that it wouldn't work because that cell phone would only work with Verizon network.

No, cell telephone telephones have what's stated as an ESN#. Its form of like a social protection volume on your telephone. If all and assorted has a at present superb bill that cell's ESN volume could be recognized "risky" and the cellular are no longer in a position for use different than that bill is paid.
