has any one heard of a old lobster tank that dont seperate fron the stand there is a plenum in the bottom does any one know the weight any ideas on how to transport such a tank

I hope you aren't trying to move it when it's full. You should be able to separate the tank from the base and move them separately. You'll need a hand truck and a helper to move it and you'll need a small truck in which to transport it. If you can't separate the tank from the stand,you'll have to move it the same way you'd move any delicate heavy piece of furniture. A trucking or moving company could do it ,but doing it yourself with a helper and renting a small truck would be cheaper.Make sure you empty out the tank,and transport the livestock,if any,in separate containers.
