The best way is to scan your phone with an anti-virus program written for it.

Oh, and if your phone is not a Symbian phone, then it most likely does not have a virus; there are very few viruses for the other mobile operating systems and they are unlikely to survive in the wild.

Some noticeable symptoms of the existing Symbian viruses include sending MMS messages without your knowledge (and usually in the night) and/or Bluetooth activity (which will be noticed only if there is another Bluetooth-enabled phone around), which tends to drain the battery very fast.

But, as I said, it is best to use an anti-virus program.
