You ask alot of frumpy questions on here and if your wife is as hot as you say she is, you might want to spend less time on here asking stupid questions about women that you really care nothing about and pay more attention to her, cuz there alot of men out there who would just love to have your hot non-frumpy wife, especially, when according to you, there are so many frumpy women out there.

Believe me...if a man had a 'time of the month' you'd be grumpy/frumpy/dumpy, too!
Because I hate for men to pick on 'that time of the month', I'm going to get graphic:
It can be excruciatingly painful. It's horribly messy, can be stinky, you have to wear a diaper or have something stuck in you ALL DAY LONG. You get 5-10 lbs heavier with bloating, nothing fits. You may also experience headaches, dizziness, and even diarrhea. And all of it can last for 7-9 days but PMS shows up a few days before! You never feel fresh and you feel fat and ugly. Then your husband or boyfriend asks a stupid question like this!

if you are referring to "grumpy" they some get grumpy when its that time or just before because of hormone changes in the body. if you are reffing to frumpy #1 they are usually running around taking care of everyone and everything except themselves.....if they work outside the home they generally have 2 full time jobs. #2 men actually get grumpy and / or frumpy too its just society generally gives it a nicer name and accepts it much easier.

Usually, we become frumpy because we have so much to do and so little help from the guys we are with. Does that answer your question????

Frumpy is when you stop caring about how you look, physically letting yourself go and not caring how you dress.
Woman may become this way when they are depressed or when they don't have 2 seconds or 2 cents to spend on themselves because they are giving it all to their family.

This is all too common if you keep them too long before cooking, a good chest freezer is an investment in the future and the bane of frumpiness.

No, its complacency. If they have a man, they no longer have to try as hard to look good when there is no reason to (they already got you to take the bait!). The best way to counteract this is to date women at your gym, or date the lanky ones because they have difficulties getting frumpy.

I'll never become frumpy, but I think most just give up when they have kids. Never gonna happen with me, that's what nannys are for.

Maybe because once comfort with you comes they don't have to try hard to impress anymore .
I dunno, i make an effort daily to not be frumpy , i like to look good for my husband .
