Maine has the highest Taxes of any state,Big welfare benifits ,Healthy people on SSI ,soup kitchens in every town ,We have Big schools that out vote the locals,and take over the state,Half the state works for the state,and they run scared for fear of loseing their jobs.We have big hospitals for the drug addicts that we bring in,we have bigger and bigger jails.to lock all the criminals from every place,we have African tribes coming for the welfare,the commies took over the state,so when are you coming to la la land?

No, I have R.A. and couldn't take the cold ... not even for a break in Health Care Costs.
In Georgia, Atlanta has a high homeless population. Statistically most have been on the streets less than 3 months. That's a statement about the Safety nets for our population in the USA. Most of the people homeless here are like all of our poor -- they have JOBS.
Georgia PeachCare, part of the medicaid system, funds healthcare for the children for those whose parents are working but have low income or the working poor. The governor is about to sign a bill allowing 12,000 children to be cut from the rolls and to disallow the other 150,000 - 200,000 children eligible to enroll. He says it's the only way to balance the budget. However, he will be allocating money to build fishing docks to the tune of millions of dollars, because of Fishing Industry lobbying that says Georgia will benefit from all the tourism trade fishing from Docks will bring.
Do you have Fishing Docks in Maine? How does that work for your state?

No, because there is no such thing as free health care. The tax payers are being punished for the laziness of people who choose to be leaches and sponge off the workers of Maine. I pity the decent people of Maine who are suffering under liberal oppression, but like the Soviet Union, Maine's socialism cannot last. The only question is how many decent people will suffer in the mean time.
