Hawaii is awesome. I prefer water, too, so any super good beaches are great vacation areas. As far as culture goes, though, Europe is good for vacations, too.

i love many places, but there are only a few i would want to return to (that only b/c I want to see so much of the world, that i don't want to spend time doing a place over again) That being said, I would return to the following list in a heart beat:
