Take it. Now. As you're reading.

Plan B is safe. It may cause some nausea and vomiting for 1-2 days after taking it, but it has no long-term health consequences.

Do NOT wait to talk to a doctor or a pharmacist about it. Plan B needs to be taken within 5 days and the sooner it is taken after unprotected intercourse, the more effective it is (which is why you should have already taken it by the time you get to this part of the message).

People define abortion differently, so I won't give you a self-righteous lecture about whether this is abortion or not. I will simply tell you what Plan B does. Plan B prevents fertilization of an egg by sperm and also prevents implantation. It will not dislodge an implanted egg. It will not kill a developing fetus. If you are already pregnant, it won't do anything (won't abort your fetus, won't cause your fetus to have abnormalities).

Thank you for being responsible enough to think about using Plan B. Be more responsible next time and use a condom or get on birth control.

You have to take it w/in 72 hours of having sex so if it has bee longer than that then no. You will have to talk to your dr or pharmacist - it is basically a large dose of the same drugs used in birth control pills so the side effects are probably similar - I am sure you could get all the details on web.md

It has to be taken within the first 72 hours of the unprotected sex. Should you take it? It is something to tak to the pharacist about first. The pharmacist told me it can be hard on the body. So, I didn't take it-and thankfully, I wasn't pregnant. Take care.

Talk to a doctor or pharmacist. You should take it, and then don't have unprotected sex any more.

See.. a gyno chicky!! Let's hope you're not pregnant. You can get prego if you missed a dose of birth control pills. I take birth control pills to regulate my cycle because I have PCOS. Polysctic syndrome. It causes irregular periods, it's harder for me to get pregnant. We're not doctors hun. I would go see a gyno and ask them this question.

That's what happens when you have unprotected sex. DUH! If you take PLAN B you are basically killing your baby. Do you really want to live with knowing that for the rest of your life?

You decided to have unprotected sex...so..... you make your own decision. I am thinking why people are that stupid.

It couldn't hurt to take it if that's what you want. But talk to a doctor regardless.
