What are hardware requirements to run Java servlets on client and server machine? Is 512 RAM req 4 server??

Java servlets produce html code on the server and then it send it to your browser so min req. for client is anything what can run browser :)

For the server it's kind of a tricky question because it highly depends on how many hits you would get.But 512 MB RAM is too few.I would personally strat somewhere around the 1.5 GB RAM.
