In no way, shape or form do I consider that song "provocative". I guess that's because I don't listen to it. If I did, I'm sure there would be something to that. The song, and other songs of this nature, are popular because they appeal to the young adolescent minds who are attempting to reach out and rebel against society.

The kids find these songs amusing since it tends to drive the older generation (including their parents) crazy. What the parents sometimes don't realize is that they've turned into the people they rebelled against as kids, their parents.

Every generation has "their" music that tests the lines of morality, conformity, taste, etc., and these songs are no different.

I mean what do you think it was like when The Beatles first played "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?" or the Rolling Stones played "Let's Spend the Night Together" or AC/DC played "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"? I'm sure they all went over real well with the parents of those generations.

It's a matter of taste. I introduced my daughter to many kinds of music, to allow her to have a better grasp on what popular music is really about. Songs like that are not just provacative, they are (in a small way) hinting to our kids that sex seems to be the main reason that the two sexes mingle. Songs like that make me sick, simply because they are making women seem like objects to propagate with, and men seem like sex fiends with no other objective in life than to f*** the next girl. Thats why I refuse to listen to rap.

In general, each new generation breaks the morals of the previous generation.

About every 15 years people discover that the "new music" is disgusting, just as their parents found that music to be disgusting.
