Don't know about that but the village where I live is famous for taking all the doors off for fuel during the '26 strike. Anyone leaving a door open and the call goes up... "Do you come from Warsop?"

no. my husband has a constant need for the cupboard doors and drawers to be shut though... he DEMANDS that the house be in total order before bedtime because he can't stand to awaken to a house in "disarray"... (can you say anal retentive?)

The closet doors MUST be shut and the bed skirt MUST be touching the floor so I can't actually see who/what is under the bed!

Never really thought about it which is just as well since most of them won't shut because the room is such a mess.

no, but although I live alone, I sleep with my bedroom door shut. and I can't sleep with the closet door open either.

Did you know..If you put your mattress directly on the floor, the monsters can't hide under it at night. This is a big help.
