I don't understand why he is only played in the FA cup matches. Surely now that he has proved himself in yesterdays match he will be chosen by Coppell more often.

I wasn't saying that Hahnemann isn't good, because he is excellent, but i think Federici should be given more chances. (Reading to win Fa cup!)

I think Hahnemann is a pretty good goalie. Managers see these guys day in and day out. They see things that we, as fans, don't see. Give Coppell some credit. I'm sure he's doing the right things for his team. Besides, for their first ever year in the top flight, they are doing remarkably well being in 6th spot. If they can stay there, they will be in the UEFA Cup next season.

I don't agree. Marcus Hahnemann has way more experience and is a great keeper. Besides, did you see how many times Federici got lucky against Man U in the FA cup? Reading was lucky that the score wasn't 5-1 instead of 1-1.

I watched the game on tv yesterday, and have to say that Federici played really well. He certainly kept Reading in the game with a series of really good saves. However, as a life long gooner, i cant say who is best, because i have not seen either of them play too often.
