I have 1.5gb Ram and an Nvidia 6200 gfx card. Will this be an ample card to play vanguard? I know what the minimum spec is, but I mean to actually play the game? If anybody has a 10 day free trial key with the game, would they be able to e-mail me the key, so I can trial it before paying the full whack?

You'd be ok, assuming your machine is fast enough, say around say around a 2.8 Ghz Pentium 4 (or faster). Any recent AMD like a 3200+ or above will have no problems on the processor side.

While you'd be much happier with an inexpensive but newer-generation card like the 7600GS, a 6200 will probably squeak by, you'll just have to lower the detail level.

I've managed to play on a system with only 1Gb and a 2-year old GeForce 6800 card, with the game set for "performance".

it is going to be positive - seems such as you have a sturdy rig - staggering paintings! in case you quite need to objective it out, acquire the crysis demo. setting up and play. basic as that. i attempted that approach and evidently i'm getting one physique each 4 seconds... i assume crysis isn't for me then hehe... it is going to play positive for you nevertheless, i reckon you will get everywhere between 40 and 70 fps in all probability bigger finding on which placing you utilize. bigger memory on pics enjoying cards do no longer continually produce greater valuable consequences. believe me so forget approximately approximately those people who say it does as they do no longer know the way they paintings. the value of a pics card relies upon specially on the cardboard itself. The memory is the quantity of assistance it may "shop/circulate" consistent with 2d yet this would only be executed in blocks. so till adequate blocks are needed, an more suitable memory will carry out particularly lots the two. wish this facilitates :D
