I got about 10 inches of hose that connects the transmission lines to the radiator.

I'm wondering if fuel inj hose would be strong enough and handle the heat for those hoses, or do I have to buy the transmission hose.

Yes, it can handle the heat, but not sure it can had the petroleum or chemical makeup of the oils. Cant hurt to try.

No, Transmission oil will dissolve the rubber and cause more problems. buy oil resistant hose.
