What's with the Edge haters? Okay, he screwed Lita, get over it, Matt Hardy has. The dude's talented, but I guess being heel causes people to hate him, comes with the territory.
To answer your question, yes. I'd like to see Edge and Orton doing something better with their time than wearing the tag titles like some sort of second place trophy (half the time they don't even carry them out). As I said before in prior posts, Orton would be well suited being unpushed back into the IC division. I think it'd lead up to some good matches against Shelton Benjamin and Super Crazy. Not to mention that the IC title looks great around the dude's waist. It'd give the division some well deserved prestige.
Edge should be world champion. The man's been wrestling for over ten years now, he deserves a reign longer than two weeks. If Vince would get his head out of Cena's rectum (damn near killed'em) for five seconds he'd see that Edge = Ratings. Why? Because smarks love Edge, and marks hate him for being a heel. The kid oozes charisma, and he's got a very diverse arsenal to back up that charisma.
I've also always wanted to see Edge v. Orton. It's just one of those matches that's never happened and should.
