I'm 13 and I've started everything early. I started wearing bras at 7, i started puberty at 8, and I started my period at 9. I don't know why I started so early. I know that puberty can cause moodswings and everything....but it's been 5 years now...how do I know it's over? does it just keep coming until I'm at the age where most people stop even though i started early? I don't know. I turned 13 2 months ago...and I have realized that just about 2 weeks ago...I've been getting really moody for no reason...I feel like screaming at people...and sometimes i do know why im mad but i shouldnt be as mad as i am. how do i know when my puberty is over. i can ask my mom...but my mom and i aren't really close...she never wants to answer any of my questions...and id rather not ask my dad. I would just like to know...is it gonna end soon?

Puberty can be a rough time, especially for girls. You probably won't reach your adult size until you're between 18 to 20, but the hormones generally settle down before then.

It might not be just puberty... age 13 is a very stressful and difficult time for everyone. While you may be done with the physical changes, you're still caught in that miserable time between childhood and adulthood, where you are starting to have some adult experiences but don't have the background to help you deal with them yet. There's a reason so many teens go goth or start writing emo myspace pages.

Since you were an early bloomer, you're probably through the worst of it by now. I suspect your body will keep changing slightly for a few more years, but it's not going to be anything like developing breasts or starting your period. Is there a guidance counselor at your school? These feelings aren't at all unusual, and they might be able to help you deal with them, or refer you to a doctor if they're more serious.

Puberty is different for everyone. There is no way of telling how long it will last from one person to another. Your mood swings are normal and they obviously don't occur every day, so it is ok. Don't worry you are completely healthy. Puberty usually ends at the age of 18-19, but for some women it may go up to 24-25 (rare cases).
To know if it may or may not end soon, ask your mother and other women in your family about their own experiences. This may give you some background, and if you see a pattern, you may benefit from this genetically.

I am sure it will get easier with time, I went through the same things sweetie. I recomend that you see your obgyn, someone you feel confortable talking with. I had cysts as well, and as soon as they put me on the pill not only did it help with the pain from the cysts, but also controled my mood as well.
You should also try working out, it helps me when I'm ready to scream at everyone for no reason :) it really calms me down. So does chamomile, and linden tea afterwards.
Hope this helps!

You need to see a doctor. Sounds like your hormones are out of wack. Talk to a counciler at school, or an aunt, family friend and see if they will talk to your parents on your behalf.
