Shouldn't you wait to have a baby until you can afford a place of your own? Really, being an adult is hard enough.
There are tons of signs of pregnancy, but a test is the only way to tell for sure and even if you are pregnant, most doctors will not see you until you have a positive home test. Do some research to find the signs of pregnancy. They're all over the Internet.
Even if you are going to try when you obviously shouldn't, why is it so hard to get a test and take it outside of your home? There are public restrooms everywhere.

why not go to the family planning its free and confidence u can have ur pregnancy test done there but if u dont want to then the most obvious sign is not having ur period u could also be very tried in the first 3months some people have morning sickness others are perfectly fine all the way through everyone is differrent.
not to be cheeky but have u really thought about this i mean u r still living with ur parents and if u do fall pregnant r u still going to live with them how r use going to support urselfs and a baby.if its something u really want then u wouldnt be hiding it from ur parents ur 20 years of age for goodness sake it shouldnt matter what they think ur old enough to do what u want.

You can take the test in the walgreens bathroom (or wherever you buy it.)
The problem is that many of the very early pregnancy signs mimick pms. The only true way is with a test.
If yu are pregnant, though, you'll need to be a more independant, adult-like 20 year old and not fret over daddy and worry about the family you created. I had my first at 21. I had just moved in my first place. You'll be fine if you are. Good luck.

Sometimes you may begin to experience nausea, frequent urination or tiredness but generally a missed period is the first indication & it is after this other symptoms often gradually arise. If you get to the stage of a missed / late period you can go to your doctor or even better your local family planning clinic who will take a pregnancy test for free & also offer advice.
Alternatively you can track your basal body temperature. You need to do this with a digital thermometre everyday. You need to take it first thing in the morning after 4 hours of continual sleep & before you stand up / get up for it to be accurate. If you monitor it over a couple of months you will notice how after ovulation (which is approx 14 days before your NEXT period) that it rises between 0.4 - 0.6 degrees farenheit & will remain higher until your next period at which stage it begings to lower again. IF however it does not lower & remains high for 17 days in a row there is a good chance you have succesfully conceived.
Good luck & take care, it can be very hard being pregnant & then bringing up a child if you dont have the added support of your family, it happened to me & it was very difficult without my parents approval. I wish you all the best & hope this information helps. x

so when you buy it take it at your boyfriends house or at work or something. The tell tale signs are always a late period, nausea, ect. but to be certain you have to take a test. If you and your boyfriend do get pregnant your parents are gonna know anyway so why hide if you two are actually trying to have a baby. Show your parents your responsibility and commitment and maybe you wouldn't have to sneak around as much. A baby is not the equivalent to smoking or getting drunk. If you want it, you cannot hide it from your parents.

It's easy to *sneak* it in. They do not check your clothes and your body as soon as you walk through the door. So what you need to do is hide it in your purse or pocket or under your shirt. Then go to the bathroom and take the test. Then cover it up really really GOOD in the trash can. Then dump the trash as soon as possible.
Oh well if they don't agree with you having kids, hunny! What are they gonna do? FORCE you to have an abortion?? NO, they can't do that to you, hunny.
You go ahead and go buy a pregnancy test at the Dollar Store (they only cost one dollar) and they are VERY accurate! Sneak it in, and test yourself, hun!
Sounds like you have some controlling, overbearing people at your house. Maybe it's time to go live with your boyfriend??? You are 20, you can leave anytime you want to, hunny
Good Luck and *hugs*

There are a few ways. One of which is the classic sign: a late period. Later on, you'll have morning sickness, but that's usually a month or two into it. Also, go to the doctor and have the doctor preform the test. By law, he can not tell anyone who don't want to know. This includes your parents.

Um, why are you trying to have a baby and you're not married to this guy? Not to be negative but there's no guarantee the two of you are going to stay together. You really should wait until you guys get married and you get out of your parents house before you try to have any babies. The reason I say this is because I went through this same thing now my child's father and I don't even speak. I take care of my baby by myself and doing a damn good job of it. I also am engaged to be married to a wonderful man. So believe me when I say it's best to wait if you can.

missed period is the obvious one. Depending on how regular you are and how familiar you are with PMS signs, you can pretty much tell.
Ive been pregnant twice, both times planned (unfortunately neither times resulted in a baby) but the first time I had an early, very light period. The second time I had a complete lack of PMT whereas usually I have raging mood swings and severe fatigue.
Get yourself to a doctor, they'll test you for free & in confidentiality.
Good luck!
