Yes. OPEN the Folder that you want to protect. Go to the Toolbar at the top of the page and click File. Then Click Send To Zip File. AFTER it is the Zip File, OPEN the Zip File and Click FILE again. THIS TIME Click Add PASSWORD. AFTER you have got the hang of it, DELETE THE ORIGINAL FOLDER.

Practice on a folder that is no good until you learn How to do it. Just make one in your Documents and put anything in it and do the instructions mentioned above. When you learn how to do it you will be ready to Password Protect the Foler you want to without any trouble. If you need any help click my avatar and email me.

Right-click on the Folder, then 'Properties', then 'Sharing'. Click in the box marked 'Make this Folder Private'. Click 'Apply', and then 'OK'.

Use Axcrypt - it's free

if you right click a folder and select "encrypt" it will encrypt all your files; then you can decrypt individual files within the folder by right clicking on them and selecting "decrypt"; or you can decrypt all files in one go by right clicking the folder and selecting "decrypt". Very neat! Just don't forget your password...
