I don't believe my family would care, but then again my sister is pretty butch already, and everyone seems to have accepted it.

Well I never made such a statement about gays/lesbians/bisexuals or transgenders.
Yes, my parents are sure I must have had gay/lesbian/bisexual relatives somewhere down the line.
Yes, I came out later in life. I tried for years to live a lie, to pretend I was straight. Finally I realized I could no longer live that lie and hope to raise an honest child.
My parents and the rest of my family were completely fine with my having come out. My son is great, never had problems with anyone for being raised by two women, we're all just fine and dandy! Thanks

I am gay and I don't beleive anyone turns out gay later. You are gay or not you don't change. Many people do come out much later in life, they can't admit they're gay till much later but they were always gay, they were only in denial.

If you are worried about your family, don't. If they truly love you they will accept it, though it may take time. If they don't accept it then they didn't really love you anyway. But I think most times they will, I came from a southern baptist family, they were very homophobic. They accepted me when I came out at the age of 20. People are afraid of things they don't understand

If you're thinking about comng out its a great idea. Being honest with how you feel-- even if you are confused is always the best choice. I got pregnant really young and was terrified to say anything, but looking back I wasn't able to enjoy any part of the pregnancy while I was ashamed. Celebrate who you are and your parents will love you either way. You shouldn't be scared of it... embrace it. Life will be much easier IN THE END. It is a tough road but I encourage you to BE who you are, because it's good enough. :) Good Luck.

Well, here it is, down the road, and hereI am, father is in complete denial, and/or homophgobic, mother said, when she was alive, honey, you wear anything that you like, (for the x-dressing part, and if you happen to find any of your bi friends that are really good in bed, could you bring them over and find something else to busy yourself for a couple hours so I can benifit from your chosen lifestyle, that woman, always lookin to get over on anyone.

My family is very open-minded and would not care if I was gay or bi or straight. They love me no matter what. I guess I am really lucky! Because some parents disown their kids for being gay. It's so sad!

Cheers

well, if ppl really cared about me they would just comfort me if i feel bad or understand me if i'm alright with being gay or bi. My parents would definitely not take homosexuality being crazy or such anymore and i would apologise, kinda publicly to the person, whom i joked about. but of course, i would never have punned in the first place coz, i always respected all sexualities.

As a folk, I would not be thrilled I'm sure and I do find it strange and bizarre but I would still love you none the less!

Are you thinking about yourself or is this a random question? Well, if it is you then good luck. I think my family would be fine about it, they are pretty accepting. My distant relatives don't need to know, it's not a life or death thing.

My family would disown me. They are very closed-minded.
I would accept it from my own children or other family members. Love should know no bounds.
