Chill out, dude. If money is indeed one of your resources, you will do better with a terse letter from a lawyer, or filing suit.

The question has to be asked ..why would you want to?
Some sort of ( personal ) grievance? If so, there are
better more legitimate methods to achieve this end,
if that grievance is a valid one. Including putting up
your own anti-uber.com website.
I really, truly, suggest you don't try anything at all
untoward, least of all a Denial Of Service attack:
1. The web server, will be protected against such attacks.
2. Looks like ( I checked ) the web server in question
is responsible for other non-uber related sites
as well, so your actions will affect parties you never
intended to harm.
3. Bad move all round. There is 99.9% chance you'll
get caught. Then you won't be a happy bunny at all,
maybe a great deal poorer, and you could even lose
your liberty for breaking the law to boot.
So, I ask you again. Why? Is it really worth it?
Somehow I don't think so.

Yes, DDOS is one method of crashing a web site. You also need an army of bots to be able to pull it off.
But that's not the real problem. The real problem is that you are asking people to tell how in great detail how to commit a crime!
So you fancy yourself a hacker, a mean not-to-be-messed with person that hacks web sites and crashes remote servers? Fine. Here's the challenge: hack Yahoo to get my IP then attack my server and take me down for having posted this!
Alternatively, try growing up.
