I took a test about a week before my missed period. (sore boobs, feelin nauseous) Came up positive, so no you don't need to wait for a missed period. A week before probably will be accurate. Good Luck!

There are test out there that can detect the hormones from as early as 4 days before your period. But if that comes out neg then do another test from the day you period in due. It's better to wait till your period is due as it can get very expensive buying all the tests!!!!Good luck
