The MVP award is not always what its cracked up to be. It almost seems that every year the person who wins it didnt deserve it. Its hard to believe that Shaq only has one 1 MVP award and Kobe has none (By the way not a laker fan). Kobe averaged 35.4 points, 4.5 assist, 5.3 rebounds, and made the all-defensive team, yet he finished 4th in the MVP voting behind Nash, Lebron, and Dirk. If Kobe finishes 4th with that kind of a year its not likely he will ever win the MVP award.

That's a good question. I think it depends on whether or not his team ever goes on a championship run. I think the year that happens and you can see him clearly making his teammates better he'll win MVP.
