In a word, yes, we have been there several times.

I am tired of putting up proof, and to get into wordy reasons why the flag waves and other subjects.

We've been there. There's lots of proof to show that we have, but I'll give you what I believe is the most convincing argument.

You might recall that the moon landings came at the climax of the Cold War with the USSR. Indeed, the most important driving factor of the space race was that each of the superpowers involved wanted to show technological dominance over the other.

Both the US and the USSR had the ability to track what the other was doing in space; this was a result of defensive technology that had been developed to detect ICBMs. When we launched our astronauts to the moon, the USSR had the ability to watch too, and to make sure that we really did have a spacecraft on the way to the moon. If we would have lied about the whole thing, the Soviets would have had the ability to call our bluff, and would have been more than happy to do so in order to shame us in the eyes of the global community.

That the Soviets have never publicly accused us of faking the moon launches is proof enough that the launches were real.

'Rumor has it?' Maybe you should look up some actual science someday. Yes, there's no wind or air in space, or on the moon. Every time you see the flag waving, someone is fidling with it. It stayed out straight because they put a wire through it to support it.

"Rumor has it that there's no wind in space"???

You should never believe rumors! See, there is this thing called the solar wind -- stuff blowing off from the sun -- and it was the solar wind that made the moon flag flutter, and also allowed the astronauts to sail over the surface of their moon in their sailboats. And fly those kites you've seen in footage, remember Neil Armstrong flying that kite?

Trust me on this - yes, they could have filmed something in the New mexico desert, but how in the name of reason could they have integrated it into the Mission Control systems to fool the controllers for 7 years of the Apollo program.

I have been in IT for 40 years, and I assure you that integration would be impossible now and, as for the 60s - "you must be joking"

Read some real history, and stop listening to rumours that are spread by people equally ignorant of the history as you.

Will this fake rumor never die?

The flag was moving because Armstrong was moving it around. As soon as he let go of the flag, it stopped waving.

If you think that the moon landings were faked, then you should think that the discovery of America was faked also -- we all live someplace in eastern Europe.

As far as I know we were actually on the moon. The reason I believe this is I work with a man who was in the navy at that time.He was a photographer for them, and he developed the pictures for the first moon landing. He made copies for himself, and i have seen them. These photos were real, and I think the government actually got copies,he claims the originals are the ones he showed me.This is a credible and honest man,and I have no reason not to believe him.

Just heard recently? My god, where have you been? This "conspiracy theory" has been around for years.

Yes it happened - I saw it, millions of others saw it, thousands were involved. IT HAPPENED.
